RJ EVANS: RJ Evans with Nationwide Belting Sales and Service and wanted to just kind of chat with you about some of the processes that we go through as far as the asphalt industry is concerned and some of the belts that are used. So the first step in the asphalt industry is the raw material infeed. And that is where you’re bringing in the sand, the gravel, and it’s being all mixed in what we call a charging area. And in that charging area is where there’s a long conveyor belt used underneath bins. Nationwide Belting does a lot of those repairs on those belts. We stock the heavy black belt that’s used in those applications. And we’d love to help you either service and or sell the products that are used in and around those.

RJ EVANS: Once it’s charged, it goes into a weigh feed or a wrap or a scale weigh feed. And during that weigh feed is really the critical process in the asphalt industry for each asphalt plant because the amount of material that goes on that conveyor belt or is weighed on that conveyor belt is critical to either product loss or product gain. And what we would like to do is try to help in some of those areas. So we have done things such as putting higher grade belts on there, non-stick belts. We’ve also put different types of scrapers and cleaners to be able to help the carryback that occurs when you’re dealing with those wrap and weigh feed belts.
